CAPS Lab is collaborating with Professor Patalano’s Reasoning and Decision-Making (RDM) Lab on a number of projects. We know that some people who make good decisions often don’t over-deliberate, yet others make bad decisions when they don’t think enough about the consequences. Our work is aimed at understanding when this balance is healthy, and how, when out of balance, it relates to impulsive behaviors that can cause people problems. Laura and Chelsea, both members of the RDM Lab, have been working in the CAPS Lab this year, and Chelsea is doing her senior thesis with Professor Patalano.
